My Goals:
I would like to feel more comfortable with my appearance and make shopping an easier experience. I would like to get a handle on exercising regularly before the 'rest of my life' creeps up on me.

My Program:
I hope to exercise a minimum of 3 times a week and figure out how to cut down my food intake without feeling hungry all day.

Personal Information:
Recently moved from Maine to CT, and it's taking a toll on the healthy habits I had.

It has three "levels", you are supposed to start with level one for 10 days, do level 2 for 10 and then level 3 for 10, but when researching people who have done it, they said to just stay with level 1 until you "master" it and then move on. Some people have been doing it long term and just switch up the workout based on what they feel like for the day. The way it works is 3 minutes of strength exercises (using light weights), then 2 minutes of cardio, then 1 minute of abs. You go through this pattern a few times in the workout, but it really does fly by. I like it. Good for you guys, and isn't it crazy dumb how much easier it is for men to lose weight? DRAT!

Things are going surprisingly well! I am shocked by how I am sticking to my calorie goals, and working out almost every day. I got Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred off amazon for 7 bucks, and find it challenging but doable if that makes sense. It's only a 20 minute workout. I think the short length makes me more apt to do it on a regular basis. I have had some bad days, but overall I am doing well with eating and exercising! Also, the MyFitnessPal app has been one of the biggest things that keeps me on track. I weigh in tomorrow so we will see if there is progress. Week 1's weigh in I had lost 4 pounds. Week 2 I lost 2 more and an inch from my hips, waist and thighs. I am just hoping I don't fall off the wagon (again)! How are things going for you? You are doing WW, correct?

Hey lovely! Look at that ticker go!

I hope to have some new pictures up soon. I am kind of cameraless and then when the opportunities do arise for pictures to be taken I still have that residual 'camera fear' I kind of have to work through.

Hope you are having a lovely beginning of Summer, even if it technically isn't Summer yet. emoticon
