P90X - after my 3rd time through.

This is how I looked when I swam 50 to 60 laps every day and ate whatever I wanted. I'm embarrassed by this picture, but I share it to emphasize how important eating right is to staying healthy. Diet and exercise are two sides of the same proverbial coin.

Me? Meh, I'm kind of between flexible and not-so-flexible...it's just what it is, that's all.

I am a Beachbody coach and P90X enthusiast. I also enjoy being the designated swim-leg in a co-ed team for my hometown's annual triathlon. I believe in muscle confusion; that variety is the spice of life; and that strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance are all pieces of a healthy lifestyle. I hope to share my second round of P90X progress photos sometime near the end of 2008 / earl y 2009.

Aeolius,
Thank you so much for your kind wishes for the yoga class! ...it went very well, in an unorthodox sort of way...there were lots of beginners and it sure was a fun time. i'm going to blog about it as soon as i get my words together! ~Pam

Ooopss think I gave you a goodie for the #2 team leader. Just ignore it because you were #! for the month of December 2009 in the Fox Cities Sparkers team. Way to motivate! emoticon emoticon

Hey thanks for the comment - why is sunday your bad day?

Heard lots about this px90 stuff, no idea what it is.
Something to do with kettle weights.

Glad to see your keeping on!

Keep smiling
Kell

Hi,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about food attitudes. I'm with you on the baking thing; use the real stuff and savor it. I'm always satisfied with one or two bites. The same goes for ice cream, non of the diet stuff.

RE: kayaking. It's my favorite activity of all time. It's a great upper body workout, plus there's something very soothing about being out on the water and close to nature. It's addicting though! Everytime I go out, I start planning the next time out.

One of my few regrets about living in New England is that the winters are cold and so no kayaking. I do snowshoeing then, but it's not the same.

Nancy
