Working towards healthier habits

I had Weight-Loss Surgery in 2005 (after reaching my highest weight of 315 lbs), and lost about 140 pounds (down to 175). Unfortunately, I got into some really bad habits and regained about 60 of that. Clearly, I needed to get back on track. I joined Spark in 2009, but it took a couple years for everything to come together.

Currently, I have lost about 80 lbs since August 8, 2011. Ultimately, it's been about eating less and exercising more, but the devil is in the details. I write ...

Currently, I have lost about 80 lbs since August 8, 2011. Ultimately, it's been about eating less and exercising more, but the devil is in the details. I write down everything I eat, and track it on sparkpeople most days. I have made exercise a priority, and actually enjoy it now!

Eventually, I want to get down to 155 and have my BMI under 25.

thank you so much for your comment. It seems like you also have a hard time with dieting too. Can you tell me how to avoid the cravings of the bad foods so I can get back on track. What are your hobbies? Do you like funny movies because my husband and I are watching Sisters Act right now on TV. I love to draw and play with our 3 children. By for now . I hope we can motivate each other to keep on track.

I'm excited to be a Honey badger with you this BLC. I am now an unofficial owner of four kittens found in my garage. They are outdoor, but I am loving them. They are about 3 months old now. emoticon
