Ready to start living my old(fun) life again!

Hi! I am 52 and need to lose a little more than 100 lbs. Ouch! That hurts to say out loud! I used to be very active...loving the outdoors, playing sports, skiing, water skiing, tennis. I have been married 18 years and allowed myself to just slowly gain 5-10 lbs a year until I got this point. Well, it stops here and I am hoping that SP can be the support I need. I joined a Gym and hired a trainer in January. I LOVE IT! I have so much energy already. My goal is 2 lbs/week and so far I am making ...
Hi! I am 52 and need to lose a little more than 100 lbs. Ouch! That hurts to say out loud! I used to be very active...loving the outdoors, playing sports, skiing, water skiing, tennis. I have been married 18 years and allowed myself to just slowly gain 5-10 lbs a year until I got this point. Well, it stops here and I am hoping that SP can be the support I need. I joined a Gym and hired a trainer in January. I LOVE IT! I have so much energy already. My goal is 2 lbs/week and so far I am making it. I'm looking for those with similar goals as I know my motivation will slow down. I love to travel and my weight has limited our destinations. I have 3 grandchildren, love to play with them and want to be able to play without looking silly or gross! THIS IS MY YEAR! Come and join me!

My Program:
I have joined Gold's Gym. I work with weights--strength training 4 days/week and cardio (yuck) 5 days/week.
Eating healthy, but realistically.

Other Information:
I have spent time in England, have British ancestory and thus love anything British. Love English Literature, castles and landscapes. I also love American History and travelling to these sites.

Anything is Possible

If there was ever a time to dare,

Good Morning..I hope everything is going great for you so far this week. I am doing SUPER.

I have been working out and eating perfect..I cant wait until weigh in friday. Anyway I was sent this poem to my email account and I wanted to share it with you all..

strength is what you have that's stronger than ever
