My Goals:
My first goal was to get off blood pressure and cholesterol meds. I have accomplished that! Now I want to continue to lose weight to get to my target weight, and increase my fitness level.

My Program:
Track nutrition and exercise daily. Keep within recommended calorie intake range and nutrition levels.
Exercise 3 times a day for 30 minutes. Walk when weather permits. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

Personal Information:
Originally from Philadelphia, but moved to New Jersey with my dear husband in 1990.

Other Information:
Enjoy quilting, knitting, various crafts, reading, cooking, listening to music.
Teach Sunday School and belong to Giving Doll group at our church.

Good morning! Today is my second day at home as a stay-at-home-Mom. Have to say it feels good.

Today I am going to go healthy food shopping. I will be finding health recipes for next week, after I am done writing this. Then it will be off to the grocery store.

My next goal for today is looking up what I should take naturally to help me with my health challenges. This will take a couple of days for me. I feel that prescription drugs have too many negative side affects.

And of course, I will be getting ready for our home visit on Tuesday.

Hello:

Surprise, I am writing another note. Just want you to know I am resigning from my job at McDonalds. This torn rotator cup is very painful, also after surgery I will have limited mobility. My doctor feels I need to resign, so I am. It will be a big pressure taken away because the physical demand kept getting more and more.

My daughter is very happy that I am going to be home for the remainder of the summer. To be honest, I am too. The girl who was her babysitter was too immature. Yesterday when I came home, there was ketchup all over my dining room—they had a ketchup fight. My living room, kitchen and dining room looked like I had 20 children mess it up. What a lesson I learned!!!!!!!!

Today I will be doing what I can to clean for our home visit. I am not going to over do it.

After my home visit is done, I am going to start making jewelery. Hope I can go to arts & craft shows, however, that will not be for a while.

Sure hope I can keep up with my weight loss now that I will not be working. Sure would appreciate any information. And, I am very blessed to have you as a Spark friend. I feel my life is much richer knowing you.

Hello:

Have not been writing for a while. This is my 2nd weekend off and thought I would drop a note to you.

Today I went to a church picnic and eat too much. I did not realize how bad I was until I tracked the food. So I will start now to get back on track. No way do I want to stay a plus size. Now I am writing down how I want to feel and look. Plus cutting out pictures from a magazine of outfits I'd like to wear. I am going put on the refrigerator. It is important for me to remind my self to stay on track. My thoughts determine many of my actions.

Instead of beating myself up for having gotten off track, I am working on getting back on track. I want to keep my mind filled with positive thoughts and working on doing the right action. I want to use my energy in staying on track and motivating myself to stay on track. Only I can control how I react.

Also busy de-cluttering and organizing my house. Our exchange student will be coming around August 28th and our home visit is scheduled for the week of July 25th – July 31st. They will be taking pictures of our house and observing us as a family.
