My Goals:
My first goal was to get off blood pressure and cholesterol meds. I have accomplished that! Now I want to continue to lose weight to get to my target weight, and increase my fitness level.

My Program:
Track nutrition and exercise daily. Keep within recommended calorie intake range and nutrition levels.
Exercise 3 times a day for 30 minutes. Walk when weather permits. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

Personal Information:
Originally from Philadelphia, but moved to New Jersey with my dear husband in 1990.

Other Information:
Enjoy quilting, knitting, various crafts, reading, cooking, listening to music.
Teach Sunday School and belong to Giving Doll group at our church.

Wow, it's August 20th! Where does the time goes? Guess I am getting older and life is going faster. LOL

Stopping by today to wish you a wonderful week. I am hoping I can stay on track better this week.
Last week I went to Wendy's—I had a burger and fries which put 3 extra lbs. on me. And you know, I didn't think it really tasted that good. I learned my lesson like I usually do, I learn the hard way.

I want so much to be more active this week. But my body has other plans—I have to walk with my walker. My hip is inflammed because I blent down too often to pick things up. When will I learn?
I don't have the same hip as I did this time last year.

Stopping by to say have an awesome weekend. Hope it is filled with friends and great memories!!

This weekend I am mixing work and visiting family. My niece's baby (my profile picture) will be Baptized. It will be good to see my sister.

We have a new addition to our family--K.C. a tiny, gray kitten. Mae Li brought him home last night. There is always surprises with her. Now she wants his sister too. She is just like me, loves animals!

We will be going to garage sales today. Hope I can find some good bargins!

Wishing you an incredible August!! Can't believe how fast is crept up!

Since I have been home, the house is filled with neighborhood kids--laughter and excitement. Have to admit, I love it and it gives me energy and extra work too! It is so good to see Mae Li developing friendships and feeling part of the community! She is enjoying her life so much more now.
