Hi Adelaide. About the nuwave oven - I've done thin potato slices in it, but not vegetable chips. But I'm not a big recipe user. I just put things in there and guess at the time, then keep checking back to see how they're doing. I always use the highest power setting - I think the only time I didn't was for a roast. So I'd just coat the chips with olive oil, keep an eye on them and probably turn them when the top gets brown. It's basically the same as a regular oven but faster, and the best feature is that you can stick a frozen turkey breast in there and cook it without defrosting.
I don't know if you read my page, but I'm prediabetic too, actually slipped over the edge into diabetic but got back down by cutting out all refined carbs, grains and sugar. 737 days ago
