My name is Wendy. I'm from Northern California. Diabetes runs in my family and I was told I'm pre-diabetic. I want to 60 lbs but most importantly, I just want to be healthy. I also have PCOS so even though I go to the gym, my diet still needs a lot of making over.

Hi Adelaide. About the nuwave oven - I've done thin potato slices in it, but not vegetable chips. But I'm not a big recipe user. I just put things in there and guess at the time, then keep checking back to see how they're doing. I always use the highest power setting - I think the only time I didn't was for a roast. So I'd just coat the chips with olive oil, keep an eye on them and probably turn them when the top gets brown. It's basically the same as a regular oven but faster, and the best feature is that you can stick a frozen turkey breast in there and cook it without defrosting.

I don't know if you read my page, but I'm prediabetic too, actually slipped over the edge into diabetic but got back down by cutting out all refined carbs, grains and sugar.
