My name is Andrea, I'm 33, married, so far childless and looking to lose some extra pounds! I don't want to be a stick, but I want to be healthy, and I don't want to be plus-sized anymore. I'm aiming for an 8 as an ultimate goal, since I've never been thin enough to wear a 8, and it's a single digit, woot woot! (I'm currently in a 10, and if the 8 I wear is a pair of stretchy pants I'm totally cool with not going below a 10.) ETA June 2014 - I currently own a SIZE 8 pair of capris!!

I have a wonderful husband and a 3 year old Boston Terrier named Bingley who is like my child. (No I don't walk him in a stroller or anything, but I love him just as much as I would my own child.)

I think I will start with small food & workout related goals. Like:

Go to bed earlier. Start getting up 1/2 hour earlier each day until I can reliably get up for the gym.

Note the difference between that & "START WORKING OUT 1 HOUR A DAY 6x A WEEK RIGHT NOWWWWWWWW!" which is what I feel like I "should" do.... LOL.

Yes, I was partly being sarcastic.... Mostly feeling sorry for myself! hahaha. I was just being melodramatic because I was grouchy.
