I hear ya, Pam. This new community feed just stinks, in my opinion. Heck, it doesn't even bump posts when someone replies. It seems like a stream of post-n-runs. Mobile chat was so much better for actually connecting with other members.

Thanks for the concern about my migraines. Yes, I see a neurologist about my migraines and have for a number of years. This is actually the third neurologist I've seen since 1988. I was diagnosed in 1978 when I lived in St. Louis. I've had them since I was a child. I remember them when I was 10 but from what one of my Aunts has told me, if they knew then what they know now I've probably had them several years before that.
I've taken so many meds - abortive meds, daily meds, pain meds - over the years I've lost track. What I have discovered is an increase in the heat and humidity every summer to a heat index of 90+ and it's a guaranteed migraine and nothing helps. Being on medicare severely limits me to my options. So I deal as best as I can.
Yes, I complain about them a lot but I also have other medical problems that are probably contributing to them increasing since as a head injury in 2006 that left me with no short term memory and robbed me of a lot of my life memories. One stroke and bells palsy three times. Since 2009 I have had wet macular degeneration so I know my eyes are a big contributor to the migraines. I've been seeing a retina specialist since Jan. 2009. I had 4 shots in my left eye and in 2017 I have had one shot in my right eye. Thankful that today my vision with my glasses is 20/25 in both eyes. That's the best it's been in years.
I'm a walking miracle, so regardless of the pain, I plug on thankful for another day. Tomorrow's not guaranteed, so I do the best I can to live each and every day.
Thanks for being a great caring SparkFriend.
