Acrofit busy mom

I love working out and I am a busy mom of three. But hey, who isn't right? I am trying hard to be spirtually, mentally and physically healthy. Everything else flows from that.

My Goals:
My goals:
1) Get mindless snacking in between meals under control.
2) Lose 15 lbs.
3) Reintroduce running and strength training.
4) Create a routine for my spiritual life.

My Program:
I am going to practice mindfulness to conquer the snacking habit. Losing weight will follow from that. I already have a workout routine that works for me, but I have to wait 4 weeks (sick leave rifht now). I am also trying to pray first thing in the morning and read the Bible once a day.

Personal Information:
I am from Ottawa, ON. I am happily married to an amazing guy and we have 3 beautiful children. I love working out, but I can get pretty lazy. With a lot of things in my life, I tend to either 'go big or go home' and that way of thinking doesn't always serve me well.

Thank you for the Spark Goodie. It's a great reminder that I need to keep "rolling" forward on this journey. Love it!

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I definitely relate to feeling lazy sometimes. I'm just now getting back in the gym after "too" much time off!

Ah, "running" to use the term extremely loosely, was rough. How is it possible that 2 minutes of straight running is barely doable? How did I ever run for an hour straight? It almost as if it happened to a different person. But I'm trying.

Hi there, thanks for checking up on me emoticon

I've been struggling with some pretty strong cravings...sugar...carbs. But have been also reading up on dealing with them and how to retrain my brain, lol. I've decided to put away my scale and go off of measurements, how clothes fit and how I FEEL! The scale seems to hold too much power over me and instead of it being a tool that helps it is a tool that destroys. We will see how that goes for the next month or so...maybe even 2 or three.

I see your status says you are having a rough time...what's up? emoticon
