Yes time is always the big factor. I start Tai Chi Chaun as a result of my practice of Chi Running. I started Chi Running as a result of my becoming a runner. I added Qigong as a result of my Tai Chi Chuan.
Each of these require time, and the purpose of this change in my life was to have more time (live longer) to spend with the next generation. Time is not just the time to do it, but the time to do it right. It takes more time to be still and focus so that each of these is a mind, body and spirit activity, with each an equal partner.
Yes, finding time is certainly one of the issue we must each resolve and balance.

Regarding the salesguy on the track -- I think I just put my hand up and said "Dude, my interval's over" and stopped running for my 2-minutes of walking.
He couldn't very well stop when I stopped so he kept on running.
I will be interested to see whether he returns!

My Tri season has been terrible this year. Taking this break from all training is allowing me to reassess the next half of this year. Better to train for quality than quantity, in events, workouts and performance.

oh, yeh...2012 is 1/4 done, LOL!
This year's schedule will seem lighter than usual, as I'm training for a 1/2 Ironman (end April) and want to take the following 4 months off, before my next marathon training season begins.
Rest...does the body good...
