My journey!!!

Hello, my name is Angela! I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and have 3 beautiful, sweet daughters! I love life, my family and God! I am here to lose weight! I just found this site looking up other diet programs that cost money, and here is a wonderful program that is free, does it get any better than that?!!!

Well at my 3rd try again. Only thing different is I am now eating most of my meals from subway, and for now doing the 30 days to skinny jeans. I am still walking a lot. 11/05/13 I have now added workouts from hasfit.com! I've got this! I can do this!

I just wanted to add a little more info about myself. I have not been over weight my whole life, only my adult life. I am 35 years old now and actually plan to have one more child after my weight loss. Hoping it deosn't take too long so that I will still be somewhat close to 35. I was skinny as a small child, then got a little chunky during pre-teen years. Then as a teen I slimmed right up from height and just being active all the time. I remember at 17 years old being 117#'s. The problem was though that even then I saw myself as fat. I am trying to work on body image within myself. After I had my first daughter at the age of 21 then immediatly my second at 22 I never lost all the weight from either pregnancy's. I was not huge, about 155#-165# after second one but the problem for me always comes in the next couple of years after birth. I always pack on another 20 or so pounds. I stayed finally somewhere between 172#-198# for quite a few years there after. At 31 I had my third daughter. By that point I think weighed somewhere around the 200# mark. I believe right after her I weighed 212#. Then as I said before after birth I went and gained another 20 or more pounds. At my highest I believe early 2013 or possibly 2012 I weighed 238#. I am so dissapointed in myself that I have let myself get that heavy. Finally when I weighed myself starting sparkpeople again seriously for the 3rd time, I weighed in at 231#. I hope to get down to about 130# or so. But I'd say anywhere between 120#-150# would be pretty good for me. Bmi says 112#-152# but I look too thin below 120# in my opinion. I just can't wait to be out of 200's and wear smaller jeans, and feel healthy and not so stiff all the time. I am already noticing how much better I feel. I will join Sparkpeople pregnancy page when I do get pregnant and will try hard to stay healthy throughout the pregnancy so I can immediatly get back down afterwards. I am so excited about this journey!

Thank you Yorkiemom! If I actually get as low as I want, then I too will have lost 100 pounds, but when I get to about 150 I'll rethink what I need to weigh and decide then. I started Spark people 2 years ago and lost about 12 pounds but didn't stay committed and gained it back. This time I have decided I am no longer walking every day to just lose weight but to make myself more healthy which means no matter what I weigh I will continue to walk for the rest of my life. Even if no weight loss occurs, I am still walking 30-45 mins everyday. I am finally starting to somewhat enjoy it. Mainly because walking has helped my lower back stop hurting. I hope you do great and lose all you desire!
