A New Day

Time to revamp my life. I was doing really well, steadily losing weight and when my husband finally came home for good, I lost my way.

I knew I was regaining my weight but it didn't really hit me until people started constantly making comments. I finally bottomed out. I've felt really depressed about how I look lately.

I can't keep yo-yoing. I'm tired of looking in the mirror and hating what I see. I hate having to go back to my "fat jeans."

I need to learn to stick with my goals, and learn that I can't eat everything my husband eats. He can eat a whole cow on a daily basis, do a few situps and lose twenty pounds in a week. I can't.

New Day. New Life. Starting Now.

My Goals:
My wish is to be 105 lbs by Christmas, but all in all, I just want to be healthier and happier. I want to be able to keep up with my children and not feel so tired. I want to be more active and more involved.

My Program:
I'm taking it one day at a time. I've started walking/jogging at least two miles a day. I'm hoping to bump that up to three miles and then more. I pop in a movie after the kids go to bed and ride my stationary bike for an hour or more. Hopefully I can stick with it!

Other Information:
Finished reading the books, "Sarah's Key" and "Whistling in the Dark." Both are wonderful books that I highly recommend.

Thank you!! I'd love to share some tips. First and foremost, staying positive is key. Measuring and tracking my food has helped me immensely. I also try to change up my workout routine every few weeks and I'm constantly challenging myself with new fitness goals. And of course drinking plenty of water every single day!!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping in. I'm glad to see you back. Life happens, so you have to go with the flow, and family takes priority (but you can't forget about yourself). Have a great weekend!

yes! No equipment required with Insanity! =) With p90X What I suggest about the pull up bar is put a hook in the wall somewhere or tie something around the upper hinge of a door way and put the resistance band through it. That's what I've had to do in the past! So far Insanity is awesome, I just am bad about controlling what I eat =/

Awe Thanks so much! Yes, I totally can see how addictive it could be to step on the scale every day but as you said it can be unnerving. I hope you figure out whatever works best!! Good luck on your journey
