The body is a sacred garment. It's your first and last garment; it is what you enter life in and what you depart life with, and it should be treated with honor.
~Martha Graham

It may be that when we no longer know what to do
we have come to our real work,
and that when we no longer know which way to go
we have come to our real journey.
The mind that is not baffled is not employed.
The impeded stream is the one that sings.
~Wendell Berry

Hi Ann, My friend Maha said it's best to respond to your message
on my Blog is to go to your page? Don't know how to do that without a reference to your message - so that's what's listed below.. Sorry if I'm not doing this right - just getting used to this process. Wishing you a Good Day! Connie

ABURRIS2 1/19/2015 8:42AM Good for you, Connie! This is so difficult for me...not just because of my own appetites but my husband's as well. He will shop for all the things I toss, thinking this is a good thing. My willpower and determination are at a low right now, so I'm struggling. Your enthusiasm shows and I appreciate the boost it brings to read a bit of what you are doing. Thanks and best wishes! ~Ann

Hi Ann, Thank you for your comments. And I know how hard it is to live with someone that's on a different diet plan! Oye! My late husband, & my last housemate could eat anything & never gain an ounce - so frustrating! Now that I'm living alone, I really did enjoy getting rid of temptations in my kitchen!

If asking your husband for some cooperation & support doesn't work, I'd say delegate his section of snacks, keeping them a distance away from yours. I find it helpful to have healthy snacks at the ready: prepped carrots, celery, jicima, fennel, and my favorite - red bell peppers! A bit of hummus or greek yoghurt dip. Just having something immediately at hand when he starts munching away might keep you from joining him!

'Bet'cha can't eat just one' was made for me - I want the whole bag!!!

This is a one day at a time process. Lovingly accept that your willpower might be low right now - but know you can make the choice to raise your vibration & determination and get back on track!

My standby quote that get me through hard days: This too shall pass!

I wish you well on your journey! May all our dreams be fulfilled!!! Connie
