Time for a change. Bring 2015 on!

Another year has come to an end. It was not a good year for me weightwise. But still a good year. I am 12 lbs heavier than I was at the beginning of the year. This isn¡¦t a surprise since I haven¡¦t been tracking my food or exercising like I should. This was a learning year. I am beginning the 5% Winter Challenge soon. I am taking what I learned in 2014 and going to make 2015 a better year.

Another year has come to an end. It was not a good year for me weightwise. But still a good year. I am 12 lbs heavier than I was at the beginning of the year. This isn¡¦t a surprise since I haven¡¦t been tracking my food or exercising like I should. This was a learning year. I am beginning the 5% Winter Challenge soon. I am taking what I learned in 2014 and going to make 2015 a better year.

I realize that I need to track my food intake each and every day. I got out of the habit. I intend to track my food each evening before I get on Facebook. Once I get on FB, I lose track of time. ļ
Another thing that goes along with tracking my food is eating better. I am going back to eating better. I plan to eat a piece of fruit each day. This is easy to do since I like several fruits. I hope to keep my calorie intake from 1200 ¡V 1550 calories per day. I have done this in the past and intend to do it again.

My activity has lacked in 2014 as well. This will change in 2015. I got cold weather gear for Christmas, so I don¡¦t have any excuses not to get out and walk. Plus Jack, my German Shepherd, enjoys these walks. The plan is to take him for a walk 4 out of 7 days. Hope to make it more than that. I also have a new kettlebell that I want to make use of on a regular basis. I have all kinds of weights, bands and DVDs that I can use as well. We have an elliptical but I don¡¦t like using it. I prefer to walk outdoors. But, I can force myself to use it if the weather doesn¡¦t allow walking outside.

Okay, I have my game plan for 2015.

My Goals:
Get back to my 2013 weight.

I still haven't completely run a 5K. BUT I WILL IN 2015!

My Program:
Winter 5% Challenge:

Increase my workouts. Or at least be more consistent.

Stay within my suggested calorie range. To do this, I will track my food each day. I will also add more fruits and vegetables to my diet.


Personal Information:
I live in Northeast Texas. Born and raised in the same town. I am not working at the present. So I have been able to exercise and plan my meals with ease. Which is great!

Other Information:
I also sell Avon, which allows me to meet other people. I enjoy the people aspect of my AVON business.
