Time to Get Healthy!

I am Alicia, I am a 22 year old college student. I spend a large amount of time sitting at a computer typing for school so it can be tough to stay physically motivated. I want to become a more active person all around while losing weight. I am currently at 280 lbs and am 5'9. I wear the weigh well but still feel very fat. I am determined to lose this weight and get healthy and I am seeing that this just might be the place to do it.

My Goals:
I want to be able to look at myself naked and really like myself and feel comfortable in my own skin. I am not a super unhealthy person, just unhealthy enough that I feel really blah sometimes.

My Program:
I am working on changing the relationship that I have with food. I love food but I need to remember that food is for nourishment, not something to do when bored or upset. I also am working on becoming much more active. I have been getting some cardio in everyday and I am feeling a lot better.

Personal Information:
Well, I am Alicia, I am 22 years old and heading into my final semester before getting my paralegal degree. I live in Wisconsin and love the local sports teams :-). I am a very friendly person and would love to build a support group here with amazing people. Let's chat!

Well, you're doing the Rookie 5K running program, right? So you run about 3 days a week, then do cross-training on the others?

It was a running day for me. :)
