New York Bubby
I've been retired for eleven years now and have loved every minute. I'm doing things now for me, not for anyone else.
I live with a wonderful man who I met before I retired. We've been together now for over ten years. We are each others' BP (beloved partner).
I read what and when I want, I sleep when I need to, I've become an Internet surfer, looking for news and information on fibromyalgia.
We now have two "rescued" dogs: Winnie, a seven-year old ...

My favorite group is SparkPeople. We share the same interest - trying to lose weight. And in 2012, we will!!

Personal Information:
I've been a resident of upstate New York for 30 years. But I was born in Connecticut.
I have 2 granddaughters in Arkansas and four grandchildren right here in New York. This is the best time of my life!
Other Information:
I love reading and am a member of a live book discussion group.
I'm a hospice volunteer and work at Red Cross blood drives each month.
I also volunteer for RSVP which keeps me busy with different things, like selling daffodils and making phone calls.
