Here's to bikini-ready and climbing Mt. Rainier!
Hi there! I'm hoping to meet some friends here in my mission not-impossible: to climb Mt. Rainier (OK, just to base camp) and fit in my pre-pregnancy clothes. You hear about folks having ah-ha moments when they realize they HAVE to do something. Mine was when my sweet little girl asked me why I was so fat. OUCH and OUCH. Well, for my little girl, and for me, for feeling healthy, energetic, and good about my body, here I am. 9/1/11: Here's the progress I've made ...
9/1/11: Here's the progress I've made and the accomplishments I'm proud of... 1. I'm strong enough to hold the full plank position 2. I've learned to hula hoop, something I never could do as a child! 3. I've trained up so now I'm walking 72 flights of stairs on my lunch break 4. I've got a TON more energy 5. I look at myself in the mirror and find things I like. 6. I am now aware of emotional eating and a few strategies to avoid it 7. I feel optimist that in time, I will eat intuitively and be at a healthy weight 8. My weight is coming off extremely slowly, and I do wonder if I'm doing something wrong, but I look at what I've accomplished and know that I've done most things right!
