Thanks for your comment on my blog re Aging. Yes, doesn't it really hit?! I like your "sitting is the new smoking"...I'm experimenting on setting my timer to 20 minutes when I'm sitting in front of the computer or TV but I do get up and down a lot. The exercise class I go to includes us rising and sitting on chair up to 12 times and the instructor says we should do it at home. I've been trying that too when I think of it. You don't really sit right down but come close and then stand right up again. She says it's one of two fundamental exercises to do. Can't remember the other one. Ha!
