I really like your blog! You're such a beautiful writer. Your post, Discovering Optimism Day 34, was very moving to me. As far as places to skate, I really like City Ice Pavilion in Queens. It might be a bit far out, but it's close to a subway (7) and also has free parking if you have a car. The quality of the ice is great. They resurface often. There's also Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, but it gets too crowded and they don't resurface often. Aviator Sports in Brooklyn is great, but way too far away. There's an awesome group of people that get together at City Ice every Saturday at 7pm that I usually join. But, I'm going on vacation down to Florida for the next couple weeks and won't be going back again until sometime in April.

Hi Abby,
I was happy to find the positive blogger's team on your site. I'm at back to the drawing board too. Keep reaching for your dreams.
I have some friends who live in NY who are actors-trying to break in anyway. You remind me of them.
Keep smiling and go for it. Steffig

Hi Abby! I found your page by searching for people around my age trying to lose the same amount of weight. My goal is to lose 17 pounds and I see that your goal is to lose 15. Good luck! emoticon When looking at a person's page I always look at what groups they belong to and I was happy to discover the Positive Bloggers group through you. So, thanks! I look forward to reading your blogs!

Welcome to the Positive Bloggers team, so glad to have a beautiful voice amongst us!
My eldest has her Grade 11 voice level. Singing is like breathing for her. She isn't even aware at times that she is singing. Her teachers used to always tell her to zip it up in class! lol.

Looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
Hugs,
Wanda
