The way I'm looking at it, it's better to finish what you started no matter how long it takes. I'll be 64 this year and I'm taking what I learned in 2015 (and it was lot) and making 2016 work for me.
I lost almost 35lbs last summer only to put it back on by January of 2016. Not this time. I've learned some stuff!

What I learned in 2015:
*I'm not powerless
*I'm stronger than I think I am
*I don't have to be super woman to get in my exercise
*Keeping my body limber is as important as my bootcamp workouts. without it I can cause serious damage to my body (lesson learned).
*Semi Fasting during the week is fantastic and easier to do then I ever thought it would be.
*Losing weight with friends here on SP is priceless.
*Telling Friends in my life is not priceless but necessary.
* The only person who can sabotage my weight loss efforts is ME! No one can actually force you to eat. I'm a Grown woman!
*I don't have to be a slave to food�eating the right foods and whole foods while losing weight is the only way to go.
*Clean foods and learning new ways to make them is actually fun and feels more decadent then opening a package of cookies.
* Eating my main meal in the afternoon or early dinner helps me stay focused on not cheating in the evening.
*Green tea is a great way to start and end my day.

*Obviously drinking water is a must but since I have such a hard time remembering it�making a batch of chilled green tea (vanilla chia is my favorite) no sugar, no carbs, no caffeine�priceless.

So here's where I start and plan to be finished once and for all before summer arrives. Time to get it together.

So here we go again. I'm never going to give up! NEVER!

Fitness Minutes: 46,650

My Goals:
lose 2-3lb a week.
*Light strength training
*More yoga moves less crazy cards boot camp moves.
*Of course walk my crazy Jack Russells.


My Program:
This is what I need to get back to the real world.

MT Food Plan: Check...and eating clean...period. not counting calories but knowing my portion sizes for each meal. Fruit or a "couple" of almonds is my snack

Excercise Fun Plan:
+Walk with my Parson Russell terriers everyday

Real workout:
Yoga and exercise videos to keep my sanity and my limbs limber. Using my personal trainer to keep me committed and keep me from injuring myself again.



Personal Information:
I Live in beautiful Northern California. It's a great place to live. The weather leaves no excuses to not get into shape. Not much Rain.temps are in the 70's-80's and winter climate is chilly in the mornings and usually sunny and in the 60-70's by afternoon. There's no excuse for not getting out and enjoying all kinds of exercise . Of course that doesn't stop one from finding excuses. So I will not look for excuses, only reasons to workout.

I'll still need my gym to get in my regular exersise with my trainer, but it will be with much more though over which exercises I should do and those that I should stay clear of.
I am working now with a therapist for my tendonitis in my arm and Bursa in my leg. All do to, too much activity without stretching properly after working out. Lesson Learned!

Some new hobbies I've been working on:
Needle felting and making peoples pets in miniature.

Also I have been making jewelry.
All this has been driven by my need to keep busy while caregiving to Nadine who is 87yrs old. I live with her and it's now become a full time job. So in order to keep from eating all day these hobbies give me something to do.
