I'm just trying to find what works best for me. I keep a blog just to vent and want to make it clear that I'm not an expert. I struggle. I don't have the right answers all the time. Its easy to become overwhelmed with losing weight, whether you need to drop 100 pounds, or 10 we have got to take it one day at a time. Think about today and what you can do today to reach your goals. Don't stress on what you could of done, but what you can do now, today. In the past, I would often go on and on about what if I had done this, but I've realized that the what if I had done this in the past gets me nowhere and eventually that is what led me to quitting. *edit* Fall of 2011.... I've maintained my weight for a whole year... I'm back though, and ready to lose.

My Goals:
- DRINK more water
- lose 14 pounds in 2010
- go down to size 6
- cut back on diet coke
- eat more raw fruit and veggies.
- to love my body and myself more.


My Program:
- monday, wed., friday = strength training

- tuesday, thursday, saturday = cardio

- 1500-1600 calories most days.
around 1400 calories on inactive days. (I'm not tracking my food, but I have a estimate of how much I'm eating)

    Thanks for writing on my page- I don't check it as often as I should so I just read it today but I agree with everything you've said. Only recently have I started doing running then walking intervals on the treadmill and I can normally do about 5 minutes at a time but I'm not going as high as I probably could. One of my goals is to be able to run/walk in a marathon or something like that and I'd love to be able to run for more then a few minutes at a time-right now I'm not even there! good luck and thanks for the helpful info and guidance on my page. Keep me udpated!

    Hi! Thanks for your comment on my page! It really brightened my day :) It looks like you're keeping it up too! I've learned in the past year or so that it really just matters that we keep going--we'll get there eventually right!
    Running was totally NOT (and still isn't really) my favorite thing to do, but it really gives you a sense of accomplishment when you've finished and you went a little bit further or a little bit faster than the last time. Keep up the amazing work-- you'll have 3 miles in no time! :)
