It's NOT SO FAST...

To be healthy isn't an overnight journey, most of us have been dealing with our weight our whole lives. It has taken me 3 yrs to get where I am today, it wasn't so fast!
In 2009 my doctor told me I would have to take cholesterol meds to lower my cholesterol and then when the Long Term Health Care application was rejected because I was 20 lbs over their limit, I knew it was time again to try to get to a healthier weight.

The SP Fitness Tracker is awesome, I love mapping the different routs we take. After logging my food I use the daily analysis, it is great to see that my eating and exercise was in sync or not! Great way to track, Thanks Sparkpeople!

No emoticon they are not! Have 3 runs in them, little over 5 miles. My arches feel like they are getting stretched out. I plan on returning them tonight if they'll do it w/o the receipt, I left that at home.

I'm pretty worn out with all that has gone on this week since my emu got attacked. The physical work has been good for me because I needed it to help me deal with my emotions. But the great thing is Sammy is doing so well and it's been such a good thing for my heart that I've been able to help Sammy and that he loves the neck and head rubs. I've needed to give them even more than he's needed them from me.

I'm going to try to get back to real workouts and planned meals tomorrow. emoticon

emoticon Thank you for the high five! You have accomplished so much and have a great attitude. I enjoy your stories of time with your husband. My husband and I do lot's of activities together. I love being with him. He is much fitter than I am and it does interfere with some of the things we can do together. He walks much faster than me, so we don't often walk together right now. We do hunt and fish together and get excited for each other for the wildlife we see and any successes in our hunting or fishing adventures. Our hikes are through the woods or mountains. I get my walking trails workouts in alone or with my daughter or sister. Congratulations on your successes and best wishes for many more!
