"I have done low carb diets in the past and yes the cravings do go away. When I stopped following the low carb diet then desserts tasted to sweet. However that soon goes away and then the old cravings return. I think part of it is physical but a lot of it is mental. Sounds like your doing great with managing your sweet tooth."
I have a great book recommendation for you, especially since you're in the health field. You'll never look at overweight people the same again: Why We Get Fat and What To Do About It by Gary Taubes. All science, but very readable. And yes, it's 90% physical. :) 1661 days ago

Hi there! I gave up cheese because it has a lot of sodium and my doctor has asked me to cut back on sodium. I'll work it back in a little bit at a time. But it use to be my go to snack. And it's so hard for me to eat just an ounce at a time so I need to just cut it out for a while. Thanks for the chat. Have a great week!
