One thing I learned from the book is low carb is not a diet, but a way of life. Honestly, I can do this way of eating forever. It is so much more healthy than how I've been eating......Patti 1868 days ago

"I have done low carb diets in the past and yes the cravings do go away. When I stopped following the low carb diet then desserts tasted to sweet. However that soon goes away and then the old cravings return. I think part of it is physical but a lot of it is mental. Sounds like your doing great with managing your sweet tooth."
I have a great book recommendation for you, especially since you're in the health field. You'll never look at overweight people the same again: Why We Get Fat and What To Do About It by Gary Taubes. All science, but very readable. And yes, it's 90% physical. :) 1869 days ago
