Transforming Grace

Inspired by the weight loss transformations I've seen on TV. I intend to spend the next six months transforming me. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. (Not planning on working our 4 hrs a day however) Joined a gym with personal training and nutrition counseling. My husband is very supportive and hopes to reap benifits from my healthy habits. Personal Information:
I live on 19 acres in a rural area just a little east of Kansas City, MO.

I have two teenage children. They are amazing! I really want to be the best example for them in every aspect of my life.

My husband always encourages me on adopting healthy habits. (I think because he also reaps the benifits) I am so happy to have met him. We will be celebrating our 16th anniversary this year.

I am thankful for God's unconditional love and I want to live my life for Him.

Other Information:
I am a nurse. Which helps and hinders a healthy lifestyle. My schedule is irregular and I work long hours. Which can lead to poor eating and exercise habits (ding, ding) But I also have a sound understanding of good nutrition and the need for regular exercise and how this affects your health. I love Sparkpeople because it has a balanced approach with diet and exercise. It is a valuable resource and tool that fits in with the busy lifestyles we often lead.

Hi there! I gave up cheese because it has a lot of sodium and my doctor has asked me to cut back on sodium. I'll work it back in a little bit at a time. But it use to be my go to snack. And it's so hard for me to eat just an ounce at a time so I need to just cut it out for a while. Thanks for the chat. Have a great week!
