Trying to find the Spark again...

I was very successful in losing 53 lbs on the Sparkpeople program. I started in early 2010 and hit a plateau in the summer of 2012 so I started a low carb, high protein diet. The diet said that as long as you eat a very small amount of carbs, you don't need to track your food. I lost 8 lbs very quickly and was excited about that. Soon after though, I found myself eating extra nuts and cheese a lot to make up for the carbs that I had banned. Eventually, my clothes started to feel tighter ...

Soon after though, I found myself eating extra nuts and cheese a lot to make up for the carbs that I had banned. Eventually, my clothes started to feel tighter and then I was terrified but knew I had to step back onto the scale to find out that I had gained the 8lbs back + an additional 5 or so. I became discouraged and am now trying to get back onto the Spark program before I gain it all back. Help!

Faith makes all things possible,
Hope makes all things work,
Love makes all things beautiful,
May you have all the three for Christmas.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hi Angie! Thank you for my sparkgoodie you left me a few days ago! You're sweet to think of me! I'm hanging in there. Not losing or gaining. Just going slow. I need to exercise but ugh I'm sooo lazy! Hate getting up early and exhausted at night! Keep doing what you're doing - it seems you are going in the right direction! Way to go! ~ Kath emoticon

Hi Angie. I'm glad you got the job. The drive would be hard to do everyday, especially in bad weather.
We don't have the best health plan either but you're right it's better than nothing.

Yes I'm still sparking. I think I'm addicted to it.Lol
I actually gained back a lot of the weight I lost. I'm not happy with myself but I'm not giving up.

You're doing great with your weight loss. Good for you!

Hi Angie. I thought I'd stop by and see how you're doing, we having chatted in ages. How did the job hunting go? Did you get a job with health insurance? Hope it's something you enjoy doing.
Have a good weekend!
