I want to say goodbye to the 190s forever!
I am eating REAL FOOD. No fast food, no highly processed convenience food! I am also just getting back into swimming. I loved swimming growing up and was on competitive teams but I have not been swimming since I had my kids (because I never wanted to be in a swimsuit!).
I live in the beautiful Rocky Mountain Foothills. I have thousands of square kilometres as my playground!
I like to read far to much! It inhibits my working out. I am going to have to start taking my iPad on the exercise bike with me!
HI! You asked about our indoor winter farmer's market. By March, the pickings will be very slim, but right now in January there are at least 3 veggie stands that offer greens and various winter root veggies and squashes. Another sells nothing but sprouts and mushrooms. There's an apple stand until their stock runs out (ditto with their cider). And then, because we are a coastal state, there are several sustainable seafood booths. Yesterday's was amazing: all kinds of fresh and smoked fishes. And then there are 3 or so humane poultry, beef, and lamb farms, for great meat and eggs. There's always local honey and maple syrup, plus the craft booths. They make it festive, with some sort of acoustic band playing. It has become quite the social hangout on Saturdays around here!
I hope you are well! Congrats on reaching your latest milestone! It's been years since I've been able to crack 160, and I'm right on the precipice now -- I hope to follow your example and be on the other side of it next week :-)
