Toward a healthy weight

I have recently turned 60, and I want to lose this excess weight and improve my health. On 6/15/15, I weighed 233.6 (my highest weight ever was 237). I would like to attain and maintain a healthy weight.

Weight Updates: (to come)

My long-range goal is to reach 140 because that would be a normal BMI, not overweight and not obese.

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending." I like that. It's true. ...

SOME GOOD ADVICE FROM OTHER SPARKPAGES:

If hunger isn't the problem, food isn't the solution.

DO IT TODAY!!
"A year from now, you may wish you had started today" - Robert Schuller

STAY COMMITTED!!
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results. -Kenneth Blanchard
