No excuses

I've been your average yoyo dieter. I've lost 30Kg then gained them all back.
That's never happening again. I now understand this is about changing my habits.
I struggled with binge eating for a very long time and conquered that. I now have a healthy relationship with food. Now, it's time to lose the weight for good.

About the nickname, that's an Aerosmith song :) I'm an Aerosmith fan :D

My Goals:
- Lose 24Kg by the 17 of July 2013.

My Program:
I've decided whatever I do, I will NOT count calories. I understand people who choose that approach but for me it just doesn't work.
I'm focusing on getting healthy and the weight loss will follow.

I'm learning which foods are good for me, portion control and staying away from overly processed foods.

I'm hiking for exercise; I prefer to work out outside as I find the gym very depressing.

Overall, I suppose I'm just trying to pack up on very good, healthy choices that will replace the old ones.

Sparkies Down Under Welcome Note.

Hi and Welcome to Sparkies Down Under.
We are a friendly and supportive team and just love to exercise and track our food.
You will find that making a spark page of your own and participating in our team goals are the only way to achieve your own goals.
We have proven over the years that the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to use the tracking facilities available.
There are challenges that are set by our team leaders to help you achieve the success that we have had on reaching our goals.
We also recommend that you track your exercise.
We have lots of helpful information in our Forums that will help you along your journey to fitness and health.
Be assured this is not a fad diet we are on.
It is a complete change of our eating habits to fresh and healthy food.
We are learning how to strengthen and nourish our bodies to fitness and health.
Remember it is never to late to learn.
Susie
