It's been a long road. It seems like something is always wrong. When I decided to take july off, I was sad, I want to run. I'm feeling better but not great. I can't justify running in August. Unless I want to tape up, ice down, spend hours prepping and cooling down for something that takes 45 minutes. (some days longer). I've never been an athlete, so it's taking some getting used to....even though I'm taking the long road, I'll still get there!
I still want to run....but that's not the best option for me right now. So I'm taking August off too and only walking, using the elliptical or riding my bike.
I read another article yesterday that only confirms that I need to slow it down and take extra days off.

Thanks for the comment! I agree with you, it's nice to know that I'm not the worst person in the world because I messed up. For some reason proclaiming it on here made me feel a lot better too. Weird haha
