Finally doing something for me!!

Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am 24 years old and I have struggled with my weight for years!
I have been creeping up my weight on the scales more and more these last few years, as I have been going through a lot of personal issues and emotional stress. I have not given up, however.

This is probably my 15th time starting a healthy diet, however something clicked a few days ago which made my view of myself change.
It was my birthday on Dec. 31 and I was out with friends. ...

This is probably my 15th time starting a healthy diet, however something clicked a few days ago which made my view of myself change.
It was my birthday on Dec. 31 and I was out with friends. When I uploaded my pictures on my facebook the next day, I was completely shocked! I was thinking to myself " Who is that fat girl? Thats me? that is what I look like?" Denial. I have been in denial for so long, that when I look in the mirror I don't use what the camera sees....until I look at the pictures.
It was a wake up call. I have been a member of Sparkpeople for about half a year, but I haven't made a page yet....I kept putting it off.
Now I need the support, like everyone else on here!!

Update:: 2 weeks in and I feel good. I am so excited to see what I will look like in a few months!! I am so happy I have started to exercise, it feels great!
I am so proud of myself, I am really doing super!
