    Ellen, I understand completely about your frustration with getting things done. Don "digs in his heels" on every project. He has several "techniques" to avoid things. His first is denial. Example - when we went back to CT last spring I told him, 2 weeks after we got back, that the floor was swollen under our carpet. For over a month he denied the problem. By the time he admitted we had a leak that wrecked our sub floor, it was too late to get it fixed before we had to head back to FL
    Another of his "techniques" is indecision. And another one is vetoing my decisions and coming up with alternatives that he KNOWS I won't like.
