I am working on creating a healthier me, with the help of SparkPeople. I have tried to lose weight through diet and exercise in the past and have experienced short-term success, however I have never stuck with it for more then a few months at a time and inevitably gained back the weight and lost the level of fitness I had managed to achieve.

With the help of SparkPeople I am hoping to make a lasting and sustainable lifestyle change.

I am developing healthier eating habits. I have nearly given up fast food and processed food while incorporating more fruits and vegetables into my diet and fewer refined sugars and carbohydrates.

As well, I am making exercise part of my everyday life. I am currently walking at least 6 days a week and usually 7 days a week. As well, I am nearly completed the Insanity program.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose approx. 40 lbs. and fit back into my jeans from university.

My Program:
I am trying to make healthier food choices and eat between 1200 and 15oo calories a day, with one day a week where I eat up to 1800 calories.

I am currently working on the Insanity program (it really is insane) and walking 10 km a day, 6 days a week.

Thanks for checking in. Right now I'm doing Turbo Fire and Asylum (doubling up most days). I have friends who want me to join them with P90X in January, so I guess I'm going to do that. To be honest, I was hoping to start Tap Out and do that program next, but there isn't enough time. I guess I'll have to do that after (or during if I'm really ambitious!).

What are you doing? I don't remember, did you do Asylum 2? I was going to do that now, but I didn't want to spend the money. Are you in the middle of something or starting something new yourself?
