I am working on creating a healthier me, with the help of SparkPeople. I have tried to lose weight through diet and exercise in the past and have experienced short-term success, however I have never stuck with it for more then a few months at a time and inevitably gained back the weight and lost the level of fitness I had managed to achieve. I am working on creating a healthier me, with the help of SparkPeople. I have tried to lose weight through diet and exercise in the past and have experienced short-term success, however I have never stuck with it for more then a few months at a time and inevitably gained back the weight and lost the level of fitness I had managed to achieve. With the help of SparkPeople I am hoping to make a lasting and sustainable lifestyle change. I am developing healthier eating habits. I have nearly given up fast food and processed food while incorporating more fruits and vegetables into my diet and fewer refined sugars and carbohydrates. As well, I am making exercise part of my everyday life. I am currently walking at least 6 days a week and usually 7 days a week. As well, I am nearly completed the Insanity program.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose approx. 40 lbs. and fit back into my jeans from university.
My Program:
I am trying to make healthier food choices and eat between 1200 and 15oo calories a day, with one day a week where I eat up to 1800 calories. I am currently working on the Insanity program (it really is insane) and walking 10 km a day, 6 days a week.
