To Be a Role Model

I am a Jr. High teacher who is getting married in October of 2010. I have been over weight since I was in the 4th grade and have struggled with who I am because of that for most of my life.
About 2 and a half years ago I met an amazing man who loves me the way I am and he is very supportive of me in my wieght loss journy, I count my blessings daily.
While my current goal is to lose 50 pounds by my wedding I have an over all goal of 150 pounds and to be a good ...

I want to use thid blog as so many others do, to stay accountable, to vent frustrations and to look for the support we all so desperately need to complete this journy and then to mantain it.

My Goals:
Right now my goal is to lose 50 pounds by September 1st for my wedding in October.

My Program:
Food

1) eat 5 t0 9 fruits and veggies a day
2)Drink 12 or more cups of water a day
3) to stay in my calorie range of 1200 to 1550
4) to get my 25 plus grams of fiber a day

Workout

1) do Cardio at least 4 times a week for 45 minutes.
2) do ST at home 3 times a week for lower body and 3 times a week in the gym for upper body.
3) to increase these goal over the next few months
*increased 6/1

Thanks for the blog comment.

That is funny that we had the same meal. It's a yummy meal! My husband made a really tasty marinade with some red wine, a little veggie oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, and cilantro.

I really enjoy listing out our weekly menu, even though most of the time it's pretty boring stuff. I guess it helps motivate me to come up with more exciting (yet easy) dishes.
