Only YOU can change YOU!!! A magic pill is not the answer and neither is dieting. It has to be a change in your state of mind!! A change in your lifestyle. You have to BELIEVE in yourself, if you want to change!! Eating a good meal is only half the battle. Eat healthy for life, not just when it is convenient or trendy. If you think you can't do it, you are wrong!! You can!
What is your motivation? Getting married, divorced, grandkids, haven't seen your toes in awhile, bikini season coming, cholesterol numbers too high, or is that baby pooch talking to ya, like mine is? Whatever your motivation, get some visual aids. I saw this beatiful "muscle woman" photo, and just knew that was it for me - I want to look like that!! And I look at it EVERYDAY to remind myself where I am headed!!
Do you want to look like this? BELIEVE that you will look like this!! And you WILL!!
Every time you pick up that morsel of food (good or bad) ask yourself, is this getting me closer to my ideal image? Every time you get to last pushup and you think you have no more left to give, tell yourself you can do it!! And then do one more after that!!
The journey to being healthy and fit is not always EASY, it may never be EASY, but it is so worth it!!!

I am a 35 yo, SAHM to a 5yo and almost 7yo, with a wonderful husband that still thinks I look as good as when we got married. They all keep me very, very busy.
I really hate looking like I am a few months pregnant, and having to down energy drinks to keep from falling asleep during the day. I don't really eat a lot of junk food, but I just was not very active in the last few years. So back to the gym in February, 2009 for some intense burning workouts. I started feeling a whole lot better almost immediately!! Then I re-discovered P90X on those "infamous" infomericals!! WOOOH!! I am hooked! I LOVE it!! And BONUS, I got my husband doing it as well!! I will post my photo when I hit DAY 30!! The best thing about getting back into shape has definitely been SparkPeople and how easy it is to track your calories/exercises. I really enjoy checking in with my teams each day!! And love all the Spark friends I have made. We are all in this together!! Let's Bring It!

I workout with a trainer on Mondays & Fridays. I can't walk on the others day, because I am so sore from working out, LOL!!
I am a 35 yo, SAHM to a 5 yo and 7 yo. I wish I was back to my pre-baby weight of 108, but 115 is what I am striving for at the moment.
