DONE with 79 pounds!
I had taken a break but came back strong in October 2011. Since returning I've lost 59 pounds! That's in addition to the 20 pounds I had previously lost and was maintaining. 79 pounds total that I am DONE with!!! Only 7 more pounds to lose until I enter the "healthy" BMI weight range! I am working on losing another 25-35 pounds to reach my ultimate goal of 135-145. I know I can do this! I will do this!

My Goals:
My goal weight is 135-145 pounds. That is 104-114 pounds to lose and a major lifestyle change to make. I will make this happen! I want to be able to keep up with my children, not be the mother that sits on the sidelines with no energy. I have noticed a huge change in my energy levels with the weight I've lost so far! I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes. Now my lifestyle change has to really be that, a change, and it has to be permanent. I also battled thyroid cancer. I'm hoping with the lifestyle changes I'm making that I'll be able to get off of some of my meds. I want to look good in whatever I choose to wear and have fun shopping for new, cute, smaller clothes!
My Program:
I've cut back on overall calories, and am watching my carbs. I've broken my Diet Pepsi addiction and now drink mostly water. We have an elliptical machine. I supplement my workout DVDs with tough elliptical workouts. For the month of Sept 2012, I did Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. I did it for 30 days in a row with no rest days. Loss was 5 pounds and 10 inches! For October I did another Jillian workout, Ripped in 30. Loss was 2 pounds and 6 5/8 inches! For November, I am doing a rotation designed by Jillian using her DVDs 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism.
Personal Information:
I am a sahm of 5 great kids. I live in northern Illinois.
Other Information:
I love photography, esp taking pictures of my kids. I enjoy watching the kids play softball, baseball, and swim.
