ONE LAST TIME

At the age of 53- (and getting fatter and fatter the older I get) this has GOT TO BE IT. The pounds are winning the war-they don't go away like they are supose to-like they use to--CRAP- I need to get a handle on my appearance,my health, and myself. Time is now or never--I hate dieting and am no good at it-so I will give this until the end of the year. Hope for the scale to be in the 150's or settle in to huffin/puffin big stretchy pants and shoes that don't tie.

It would be nice to walk into where ever and not feel fat.. I want to dress up /or down-- and feel great about looking the way I do.. and having that "hot guy " I married be glancing my way through out the night. I want to be happy with what I see when the pictures of the latest holiday or happy event are developed and there I am... SHOCKED that I look like that--- Gee.. That is not what I thought- Did I really have that doulbe chin -- YES-- I need to get on track and in control.. summer is coming and my life is around a boat and swim wear. (along with a cooler of beer and chips) I have too many skinnier friends that I like to hang out with and I don't want to feel like the fat one of the group..
Grama or not---- I need to get a grip on this cuz- grama's are still partyin' when kids are gone.

Knowing me.. I will stick with it into 2011-but at a better starting point than past years(I hope). Boy this wt just packed on after 50...My pix of my 50th b-day party seemed slimmer..

1957 was a good year wasn't it?
I am so with you on this is the very last diet attempt. I cannot give up on it this time as my body is beginning to feel old. My knees hurt, my hips hurt and my back hurts. BUT I am NOT ready to accept these things.
I can still remember how I felt just walking and walking with no pain. I want that back!
PLease stick with me on this and we will get there together.....So.....no December deadline? Stay with it / me?

OK so I ate like a normal person(which was VERY nice) but I have GOT to realize that is not going to get me to the 150's by Dec.What happened to my "goal" that I was so Pumped about in Aug...Humm. I just really like chips and hotdogs and beer and wine and any kind of pasta with goey ooey sauce- and don't forget thegarlic bread.. Gee I gotta get a grip. Expecially when it is only for two more months...

Yay! Hooray for the good days! I have had a couple here and there...
LOL -- OK, on to a new month. I have a question for you, one that I am considering...have you had your thyroid checked? I think I am going to go get tested. This is pretty ridiculous. I have embarked on a way of eating: every two hours, 200 calories at a time. I don't know about how effective it is for me as yet, since I have refused to weigh myself, but I like the way I never get too hungry and never too stuffed. Also, if I am going to cheat, it is just "a little cheat" and not a big stuffing!

I ate a cheeseburger yesterday with grilled onions, tomato and lettuce and a tad of mayo - soooooooooo yummy and a few of my son's fries. Otherwise I have done OK, not perfect, but not too overboard. I brought leftover Halloween candy in to the office so I don't have to listen to it call me at home when no one is around.

It sure would be nice to break into those '60s! Rootin' for ya!
