Hello again...something within me will not let me give up. i lose nothing this year and what i did lose i ate it all back via cookies, cake, ice cream, pies and take out food. so, how do i want to approach my obesity in the coming year? i don't want to die from something that could have been prevented nor do i want to die from anything obesity related and i don't want to die young just because i couldn't control what i put into my mouth. so what am i going to do to once and finally conquer and end my constant daily, monthly, years of battle with my weight, my addiction to sugar and my low self worth?
1. join a support group.
2. change my diet: stop eating white foods: sugar, flour, grains, shortening and dairy.
3. get out of my house and do stuff, anything.
4. remain present, stop living in the past and planning for 'when i lose weight' future.
i think this is a good starter plan and as i change this maybe revised to fit me better. ok, new year~new start.
I might not be the most beautiful or sexiest nor do I have the perfect body. I might not be your first choice, but I am a GREAT choice. I don't pretend to be someone else cause I am too GOOD at being ME. I might not be proud of some of the things I've done but I am well pleased with who I am. TODAY, Take me as I am, or Watch me as I go!
JUST ONE POUND
Hello, do you know me?
If you don't, you should. I'm a pound of fat,
And I'm the HAPPIEST pound of fat that you would ever want to meet.
Want to know why?
It's because no one ever wants to lose me;
I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound!
Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds, or fifteen pounds, but never only one.
So I just stick around and happily keep you fat.
Then I add to myself, ever so slyly, so that you never seem to notice it.
That is, until I've grown to ten, twenty, thirty or even more pounds in weight.
Yes, it's fun being ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT, left to do as I please.
So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying, "Oh, I only lost one pound."
(As if that were such a terrible thing.)
For you see, if you do this, you'll encourage others to keep me around because they'll think I'm not worth losing.
And, I love being around you - your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you.
After all, I'm ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT!!!

0. remove all sugar, flour from my diet.
1. lose 325lbs. and reach a healthy weight of 175lbs.
2. get off of all medications.
3. take a trip via airplane to new york city.
0. journal food and feelings.
1. eat when hungry, stop when full.
2. exercise 3x a week.
3. weigh in weekly.
