I will need MOTIVATION

2/7/2012 So I'm REALLY trying my best to get back on track and stay on the right path here. I have found a bit of motivation and am holding on for dear life...GOD HELP ME!!!! 6/11/09 This is my 90 day update: For starters I must say I thankful to SPARKPEOPLE for the website and everything they provide FOR FREE big way to go, for Sparky! In the past 90 days I have learned more about me than I had in the past 40 years. I learned that if I set my mind to do something...nothing stops me. I learned that if I push myself I can accomplish anything. I learned that it feels so good to reach a goal you thought you'd never reach. Since I started my journey I have QUIT SMOKING, learned to eat healthier, joined the gym (and attend, not just join), drank enough water to fill my pond out back (5,000 gals), and been happy with my results! Lost 20 lbs (even with a 2 month plateau), and quite a few inches. My clothes feels better, and I still look great! 04/02/09 Today was my first day at the gym and my 3rd day without a cigarette. I am feeling good. I can already tell the difference with not smoking. Can hardly wait for my lungs to be completely clear. The gym was fun...I need to ask for help on the equipment though. Not sure how to set it just yet and at one point the resistance was so high on the bike I had to push my legs with my arms (funny). I am making weekly progress and PRAY it continues. Will keep posting. ORIGINAL INTRO: Hello! I HAVE GOT TO DO SOMETHING. This is getting out of hand. I started putting on the weight once my gall bladder was removed. I managed keeping a lot of it off by going out on weekends and dancing. I love to dance! Then I met my husband and my life sort of became a "do nothing". I started working in offices (desk jobs) and putting on weight. We dont go dancing so there went that. The less I do the less I want to do. My body is now the biggest its ever been (even through 4 prenancies). I am not working right now so I do even less. I am NOT motivitated at all. My body hurts and I need to do something QUICK. To top it all off, I come from a family of obesity.

My Goals:
My goal is to feel better all the way around. I dont want to look 20, I want to feel better. I want to quit smoking too. 03/30/09 GOAL REACHED: I put down the cigarettes (with the help of Chantix) and supporting friends. Thanks Crazeyone!)

I'm starting with walking 1 mile a day on my treadmill and counting calories 04/02/09 Joined gym
Personal Information:
I have joined this program with hope and determination of a much healthier life. I plan to quit smoking too. (I QUIT after 27 years)
Other Information:
I love to laugh, I dislike people who are always criticizing others to make themselves feel good, and am very easy going.
