MY YEAR TO A BETTER ME!

I THANK GOD FIRST! GOD IS THE REASON FOR ALL THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN MY LIFE. GOD IS GIVING ME MY STENGHT TO PRESS FORWARD! FOR THAT I SAY THANK YOU! I AM OUT GOING AND VERY MOTIVATED. I'VE BEEN BIG MOST MY LIFE AND NOW BEFORE I TURN 30 I WANT A CHANGE! I HAVE DONE THIS SO MANY TIMES BACK AND FORTH. I HAVE BEEN AT THIS FOR TWO MONTHS NOW AND I, I AM DOING IT!!!FOR ME!!! My Goals:
I WANT TO BE ABLE TO GO TO SOUTH BEACH AND STICK OUT. NOT BECAUSE I'M FAT, BUT BECAUSE I LOOK GOOD AND FIT. 2008. IN 2013 SAME GOAL JUST CLOSER.

My Program:
I HAVE FASTED MENTALLY TO GET TO THIS POINT. I HAVE CUT DOWN MY PORTIONS OF FOOD AND INCREASED MY WATER INTAKE. I LOOKED FOR A GYM LOGINED ON HERE AND NOW I'M READY TO LOSE!

*I HAVE INCREASED MY WATER INTAKE TO 10 CUPS A DAY
*I EAT WHEN EVER I AM HUNGRY, BUT I MEASURE EVERYTHING.
*I COOK HEALTHY AND WHEN WE GO OUT I EAT THE VEGIS FIRST.
*I HAVE INCREASED MY WORKOUT AT LEAST TO 6 DAYS A WEEK FOR AT LEAST 45 MINUTES.
*TAE BO AND WALKING

*I AM NOW A MOTHER OF 5
* THIS YEAR MY HUSBAND AND I ARE CELEBRATING (15) YEARS TOGETHER.
*I AM FROM NEW JERSEY.
*VERY OUT GOING, MOTIVATED, AND OUT SPOKEN MOST OF THE TIME!
*I GET TO BE MY CHILDREN'S FIRST TEACHER.( STAY AT HOME MOM)WITH A PART TIME JOB.

This morning I got up around 5:15a. I started cooking my lunch for today and preparing my things so I could leave the house for work @ 6a. I finished cooking the food, packaged it, and was almost finish with packing my gym bag around 5:50a. The last thing I needed to do was grab a work outfit & throw it in the bag so I could leave. I was already dressed in my workout clothes so I could hit the gym as soon as I got to work. But good gosh, it took me another hour to find an outfit that *fit decently enough for me to consider wearing it out in public. lol

In the process of trying to find an outfit, I remembered one of my girlfriends left a bag of clothes at my house that were to be given away several months ago. I grabbed the bag and went through it hoping I would be able to fit something in there (at the time she was smaller than me at size 12/14, but used to be a size 16/18). I went through the bag and unfortunately, found a lot of 10s in there. But, there were some 16s that I (thankfully) looked a mess in. When I tried the 10s on, I was successful in getting them to my hips only. lol There were no 12s in the bag. :-( There were 2 pairs of 14s (pants) in there, I fit in the dressy pants very nicely. The other pants were actually jean shorts & just a smidge loose. They were still flattering to my figure though.

Unfortunately, it's not warm enough today for me to wear the dressier 14s (they're actually gauchos) and its raining. I've already picked out the shirt & shoes I'm going to wear with them when the weather remembers its springtime. :-)

*I just came back from the bathroom & have realized that the pants I have on do not look decent. But oh well, I'm already at work. I'll just limit my walking around today. :-)

I want to get a new picture put up, but I told Maggie that I wanted to have MR. WILKS, my cat in the picture and take it at the beach. She doesn't think that Mr. Wilks will appreciate a trip over to the beach, but we will see when she gets some free time to go with me. She has Advanced Placement tests coming up and then she leaves for a month in Spain the day school gets out, so she won't have free time until she comes back, but we will get it done. emoticon

thanks for the GOODIE. Know that in the past 3 months you have made MUCH better food choices being a SPARKER than if you hadn't been. And you'd probably have gained an additional one or two pounds, so WE are doing great!!! emoticon

You know, you talk about being in a no losing period of time...I'm having trouble at the moment too. The first 20, really, were easy, and I'm at almost a standstill. I'm looking for solutions, different calorie ranges, different kinds of activity, etc, but haven't found the miracle solution yet. Just talked to the Dr this am, who said there are natural periods of no losing, but to seek help if it goes on for too long, so we'll see.

Thanks! I actually have a little more than 13lbs to lose. I just now figured out that its going to take prolly at least 15 more to comfortably fit in a size 12. I need to go to a store & see what I fit into right now as that will help me gauge how much weight I need to lose.

I get off work in 2 mins & am headed to the gym for another minutes. I've already been in there 3 times today in 10 min increments. Using the time I have to do what I can. :-)
