Back on Track!!!!

I am back on the on the "it's a lifestyle not a diet stupid" track.

Over the last few years I have been adding a few pounds here and there but a huge addition occured when I moved to Maui. When I moved to Maui rather than becoming more active I became less. I quit going to the gym thinking that I would exercise outside. Unfortunately, that never happened. Then one day while looking a some vacation pictures I didn't recognize myself. Over the last few years I have been adding a few pounds here and there but a huge addition occured when I moved to Maui. When I moved to Maui rather than becoming more active I became less. I quit going to the gym thinking that I would exercise outside. Unfortunately, that never happened. Then one day while looking a some vacation pictures I didn't recognize myself. When we got home I decided it was time.

I started with Spark and saw 25 pounds melt away... but then I had to deal with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years! The motivation went away but now it is back. I haven't gained much of the weight back... so I have done something right. Now it is time to get the Spark habits back!

Soon the old me will be back and the pictures I see in photo album will reflect the person I know as me!

My Goals:
Start making exercise a part of my daily life.
Lose dress sizes.
Start to make my calories count instead of counting my calories.
Work toward running and do a 10 K next October.

My Program:
Portion control!
No more Margaritas!
Doing cardio for a min of 45 minutes 6 days a week!
One swim a week.
Three days of weight trainning.
Remembering to eat breakfast.

Personal Information:
I live in Hawaii, with my husband and two doggies.
I have been married for two years in April.
I have traveled around the world, and lived in wonderful cities.
I love to watch TV, especially Lost, and now Jericho!

Other Information:
Favorite Books: Atlas Shrugged (Who is John Gault?), anything by Isabel Allende, Elizabeth George, Steinbeck... oh so many more.
Favorite Movies: Steel Magnolias, The Godfather (only I and II), Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version not the new one) and recently Upstairs Downstairs from the BBC...
Favorite Sport: Football - Go Patriots!
Biggest Weakness - French Fries, Chips and Salsa, Potato Chips! Oh yeah and HAND BAGS!
