Hello my name is Gretta and this is the second time I'm joining sparkpeople to help me lose weight. The first time around I was on several other sites and quickly got overwhelmed and lost my concentration. Yes I fell off the banwagon but I am ready to get back on it with more determination than ever. I have a wonderfully supportive boyfriend, friends and family and with all of your help as well I'm confident that I can get this weight off for good!

Hello my name is Gretta and this is the second time I'm joining sparkpeople to help me lose weight. The first time around I was on several other sites and quickly got overwhelmed and lost my concentration. Yes I fell off the banwagon but I am ready to get back on it with more determination than ever. I have a wonderfully supportive boyfriend, friends and family and with all of your help as well I'm confident that I can get this weight off for good!

I've always been heavy; I don't even know what it feels like to be a normal weight. I would love to feel that feeling of energy and vitality. I've tried every diet program under the sun and still there are well meaning people out there telling me the latest greates diet fad trying to help me out. But I'm not going to follow any trendy weight loss methods this time; I'm going to eat whole foods, limit my carbs to the complex variety and eat lots of fruits and veg. Excersise being my biggest challenge will be the hardes thing for me to work on. Being as big as I am its hard to move around like the thinner women in the gym and on those workout videos but if I start of slowly I know I'll get there in no time.

I'm looking for buddys and friends on here to keep me motivated and also who need someone to help them stay motivated. If you would like me to add you please send me a note or just add.

I plan to keep my blog updated on my status so to end this on a positive note........

*sends... the stuff to make orange chicken* We finished it. LOL Twas yummy though! I recommend Panda Expresses Orange Sauce you can buy... if you don't want to make it. However I think I'll try to make it eventually. hehe

I'm over my calories, but not really by much. Like 300 cals or so. Not bad for having pizza for lunch. Lol

I worked out tonight! Walked for half an hour this morning, than did 24 minutes of Bob Harper kicking my arse. Lol

Tonight I will! *crosses fingers* We're having chicken and rice. :D Wonder if SP has a orange chicken recipe... Oh how I love orange chicken. Grr to yummy chinese food! haha

You're not all alone! :) You has me! *pokes Angelo* lol We can do it! Hopefully Ben sticks with it.

I... think I'm going to try posting my food... supper at least. Lunch... I need to start taking my own I think. Cause... well... work food isn't always healthy. Or never healthy. Grr! lol

Chicken... chicken and rice is yummy! I think we're going to do BLTs... we'll use turkey bacon, so it'll be a bit healthier. Lol And spinach! Mmmmm love spinach. lol

I think this week I'm just going to focus on eating healthier... than hopefully next week I'll start sleeping better and all, and feel more like working out. :/ I dislike this lack of sleep!
