My name is Cheryl and I'm from the Lone Star State. I am a Jesus Freak and proud of it! I have a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and it's the best relationship I ever been in!
I started to gain weight during my divorce in 2005. I found out some horrible things about my ex and turn to food. Shortly after in Sept. 2007 I started to have horrible dizzy spells, vertigo and other sensations that go along with these symptoms. Unable to exercise, I gained even more weight. Just recently, I over came the dizziness, etc. and I'm ready to lose weight! This is the first time in my life that I ever had any type of weight problems. I always maintained my weight, exercised and ate healthy. Time to say good-bye to the fat and hello to a new me! Oh yea!
Another part of my gained weight is due to my fibromyalgia. I was injured on the job in 2003. Due to my injuries, I sustained 2 incurable conditions, fibromyalgia and a Srynix. I've been on full disability ever since the accident. Talk about a blow to the gut. I was the type of person who loves to work (workaholic), workout and all the other fun stuff. Now, I am limited to what I can and can't do. Mentally, I feel I can still do the things I used to do, but physically, I'm not able to. Slowly, but surely, I'm trying new things. This allows me to see what works and what doesn't.
In April of this year, I lost my 17 year old nephew Brandon. I've taken this very hard. I have other nieces and nephews, but they don't live close by. They either live in another city or state. Before my injuries, I was going to adopt Brandon. Of course, this never happened. When he was younger he was always at my house for the weekend, if not with me, he would be with my parents. As he grew older, friends became more important like all teenagers. I can't express how much I miss him. It seems so surreal. Once again, my faith and trust in the Lord has made things easier, but not too easy. Knowing I have my Lord & Savior to lean on and to talk to has strengthen my faith and relationship.
I joined SP a few years back. Some might remember me as clehman90. I founded 3 amazing teams. I'm a very outgoing person who loves being around people.
If it wasn't for my strong faith and trust in Christ, I would be in a much darker state of mind or worse. I am a strong Christian woman who loves the Lord wholeheartedly. I have a wonderful relationship with Him and I know it's He who guides and directs my path. I will serve Him always!
This site and the teams I'm on has helped me meet my goals, meet new people and give me the encouragement I need.
With the help of Our Lord, Jesus Christ and SP, I will lose the weight/fat!

My Goals:
My goal is to eat healthier, exercise more, and take care of me. I hope I can inspire others while they inspire me.
With God's help and my teams support, I know this can become more of a reality than wishing.
My Program:
I'm with a program called EPIC designed by my team leader Lillie. This has been a wonderful insight to eating healthy and exercising.
I'm looking forward to all parts of EPIC!
Walking alone or with the dogs, yoga am & pm and working in my yard.
I would like to walk everyday, if possible and do the yoga as well.
Personal Information:
I live in the beautiful state of Texas.
I have such a yearning to do more when it comes to exercising and eating healthy. My fibro prevents me from doing what I would like to do, which is walking, yoga and other activities everyday. Unfortunately, the pain wins more times than I like. Eating right is difficult when you're on a budget. With food prices going up, it's becoming more difficult to buy foods I love.
I have my hands full for the most part. I have 2 dogs, and 5 cats. The newest addition are my youngest babies, 3 kittens. They were born in May 2010. You can say it was my birthday gift. I saw them the day they were born until now. Truly a blessing. Knowing the breath of God are in all living things is truly beautiful and amazing!
I'm single and love the Lord with all my heart and soul! Call me a Jesus Freak...so be it. I'm proud of my relationship with the Lord.
Other Information:
I love audiobooks. I have tons of favorite authors, some Christian, others not.
I want to learn to play the piano.
I love arts and crafts. Cooking is a specialty of mine.
I like traveling within the US.
If you haven't notice, I love animals. I know all can't be saved, but for the ones I have, they are loved very much.
