Daizymom Winning at Losing the Primal Blueprint Way!

Changed my name to 40and thin. I'm not 40 or thin yet but I'll be both by September of 2012! (Formerly daizymom). I strongly encourage anyone who is stuck in their weightloss to googel Whole30 by
Whole 9. Not to be melodramatic, but it changed my life and can do the same for you. If after reading it, you want something similar but not as rigid, visit www.marksdailyapple.com.

From here on in, it's a Primal Lifestyle for me! I know I will reach my goals. How about you?

My Goals:
My main goal is to lose weight!
Run 5 kms without stopping.
Maintain a healhy blood sugar level.
Help my kids to be active and healthy.

My Program:
No more chronic cardio, no grains, no sugar, no legumes.

Yes to fruit, veggies, nuts, healthy fats and meat. Eventually I do want to switch to grass fed, but right now, I am having a hard time finding this, and it's not really in the budget.

I don't count calories, carbs or protein, although my carbs only come from fruits and veggies. While losing weight, I am limiting fruits with high sugar content.

Personal Information:
I'm CANADIAN EH! from the Rock, raised in Toronto, and living east of Toronto now. I have a wonderful husband, 3 children, 2 rabbits and 2 hamsters. Would gladly trade the rodents for 1 dog, but hubby is not so inclined.

Life is good.

Other Information:
I'm achieving my weight and wellness goals by following the primal blueprint!

JUST DO IT!

Hi! Yes Paleo is awesome. I just went to a paleo workshop that everyday paleo had in Palo Alto and it was very informative. I feel better than I ever have. I actually feel "normal" I think LOL

Hi!
Thanks so much for stopping by my page! It was great to hear from you.

I am not doing so well. I don't seem to be able to get into a good groove. Things are winding down schedule wise so I am hopeful that I will be able to make healthier habits during this slower time that will carry through to our busier times.

How are you doing? I see that you are turning forty in September. I am right behind you in November.

Hey, do you know of any good active teams? I am having trouble finding anything that is the right fit.

Thanks again for stopping by!
Lisa

Thank you so much for your kind words on my spark page.
I am trying, unfortunately had a slip today that makes me feel awful for falling off the Primal wagon. I have to get back on and eating right, don't like how I feel right now.
Do you eat dairy or are you more Paleo?
Hugs,
Angela

Thank you for visiting my page. Been on Primal for 2 months now. Really liking it but have slacked off the past two weeks. Will need to tighten up my food intake soon but am giving myself some grace due to some family issues that are occurring.

I am impressed with your weight loss. That is great! I can't weight til I lose another 10 pounds. So far it is about 10-15 pounds. Depends on the day. But the inches are still coming down even when my weight fluctuates. I am already so close to my goal WT but want to get down to 165 (which is my boxing fight weight).

Good luck and let's keep in touch.

Hi Tina (hope I have that right) thanks for the message on my sparkpage! Always nice to see another Canadian eh! LOL!
Thanks for the encouragement, I am trying. It looks like you are doing great yourself. What is your secret?
Going to add you as a friend and hopefully you will do the same. Looking forward to cheering you on.
