I really thought 2012 would be the year I finally got healthy and fit. Instead, I lost and gained the same 10 pounds over and over again; and now, as the year comes to a close, I'm 3 pounds higher than when I started (my highest weight ever), but I will NOT give up. I know 2013 will be different, because I am not the person I was. I have 364 days more knowledge and experience than I had when I started, and I definitely have a better understanding of what motivates me, and what distracts me from reaching my goals. I doubt I'll ever be thin, and that's okay...but I must get to the place where I am comfortable in my own skin... where I no longer worry that I won't fit in the Rollercoaster (or airplane, or restaurant) seat...where I can buy my clothes at any store, and not just plus-size shops I know it will not be easy, but I also know it WILL be worth it.
