I really thought 2012 would be the year I finally got healthy and fit. Instead, I lost and gained the same 10 pounds over and over again; and now, as the year comes to a close, I'm 3 pounds higher than when I started (my highest weight ever), but I will NOT give up.

I know 2013 will be different, because I am not the person I was. I have 364 days more knowledge and experience than I had when I started, and I definitely have a better understanding of what motivates me, and what ...

I doubt I'll ever be thin, and that's okay...but I must get to the place where I am comfortable in my own skin... where I no longer worry that I won't fit in the Rollercoaster (or airplane, or restaurant) seat...where I can buy my clothes at any store, and not just plus-size shops

I know it will not be easy, but I also know it WILL be worth it.

I wanted to thank you for sharing your comments on my Cancer blog. I can't imagine losing both of my sisters in such a short time period. I wish you success in your efforts for 2013. I start each and every day with SparkPeople and 10 to 30 minutes of exercise. I took 35 lbs off and kept it off for 18 months now. You sound determined so make it happen. Sparkpeople works!
