Trying to lose

I'm now 32, going on 33 and am finally starting to see some results. It's taking a lot of time, but I'm finally doing it.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose about 72LBS by next summer. I am so tired of being overweight that I've decided to do something about it.

Personal Information:
I'm looking for friends who can motivate me when I'm feeling down, who are going through the same thing I am, so we can go through this together.

As the months progress, I will be uploading more photos of myself, noting my own progress. It will be a good way to see how I'm doing, and to see the difference. I found old pictures of myself recently when I was far less than I am now, and it hurts me to see how much I've gained since then. New pictures will serve as great motivation.

When I first joined Sparkpeople I was afraid to DARE to HOPE that it would work. Nothing else had, and I had tried EVERYTHING! You can do this, and you are making GREAT progress! Focus on what you are doing for your health, and take the small steps. You are worth the commitment! Welcome to Sparkpeople!
PS: about the bread going moldy, I buy the expensive stuff sometimes from the healthfood store but cant eat it all before it goes bad so I split the loaf up into baggies of 2-3 slices, put it back in the loaf bag and keep it in the freezer except for the baggie I'm using right now. Maybe this will work for you.
