Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. (Theodore Roosevelt)

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. (Steve Jobs)

Thank you very much for your kind words on my blog about my mom and Alzheimer's. I am so sorry your father suffered from this horrible disease as well.
I think my hikes are helping me remain sane through it all! emoticon

emoticon Just tell people the Midwest bracket looks like a beast, Wichita State didn't get any cream puffs in that bracket and you think Louisville (#4) got screwed because the conference they are in.

No, I confuse myself, easily and all the time. There are 32 conferences, 31 have a tournament at the end of the season and each tournament conference winner gets an automatic bid. The Ivy League doesn't have a tournament but their regular season conference winner gets a bid.

That leaves 36 bids up for grabs. They say they look at the overall team resume (all year) but I don't really know about that. I know they look at strength of schedule, how the teams played down the stretch, what their RPI is and how they fared against team in the top 50, 51-100, 101-150 and sub 150 (Win-Loss record).

I hope that is what your asking....LOL. I am watching my Missouri Tigers get beat by Davidson right now and they are playing at home, Yikes!! Could be the end of the season for the Tigers.
