It has been a hard road. I lost my job, lost my trust fund, lost my marriage and dropped to not unhealthy 87 lbs in the process despite continuing to eat. I found love, but am now trying to shift back to having my best friend instead due to circumstances that may or may not change in the future.

It has been a hard road. I lost my job, lost my trust fund, lost my marriage and dropped to not unhealthy 87 lbs in the process despite continuing to eat. I found love, but am now trying to shift back to having my best friend instead due to circumstances that may or may not change in the future.

During this process though, I have also discovered a strength I did not know I had. I got licensed and am now a financial planner for a nationwide broker dealer. I have a growing, successful nationwide team and am always looking for more motivated people. I have sole custody of my children and my son just finished state debate and is the youngest manager ever of Taco Bell. My daughter sings, dances and runs 5Ks with me. My son and I ran our first marathon in September and we are searching for a new house to call home.

In many ways life is very good. I am again a healthy 105. I subscribe to a local organic produce company. I run, I cook and I live my life. I attribute so much of this to Sparkle people and I recommend them to everyone I know. I need more accountability though as I train for two more marathons this summer. So I am back for more!

My Goals:
To continue with this healthy lifestyle and maintain what I have worked so hard to acheive, as well as tone up my new skinny body!

My Program:
I have been counting calories with a 1000-1400 calorie a day total. I am slowly changing my exercise schedule to a maintenance schedule of cardio MTRF running 5 miles and strength exercises 3X a week.

Good luck w/ the trainer, what a great idea! I just started going to the base gym w/ a friend this week. I've gone to 3 classes now and I'm feeling muscles being worked that weren't being touched by my other exercises. I think this is a good thing but my shoulders are sore :).

Isn't that something that our girls were both "Little bo peep" this year! Great minds thinking alike again :) (remember going to see "Little Mermaid" at the same time?). I'm sorry to hear about your 4 pounds but I've got 5 pounds that have drifted onto me :(. I do think that you are right, our bodies adjusted. Plus I'm not that careful, I just eat when I'm hungry until I'm no longer hungry. I may need to count calories for a week to make sure that I'm not overdoing it without realizing it. Exciting news about your Jan. vacation. What a great tradtion you have going :)

Hi...just want to say again what an inspiration you are. Sadly, I am in the same place and feeling depressed and really want to lose weight. I just keep falling off track. I wish I could summon up the dedication that i need.
