Hi! Just joined - I'm really looking forward to seeing what's out here and have a community of people to share ideas with!

I love to do marathons and triathlons and am really looking forward to hearing other people's stories about goals and challenges. Although I'm one of the slowest ones out there I do it just to give myself a goal to work towards and something to accomplish and let's face it --- to have fun!

My favorite things in the world are my dogs and of course, my hubby. I work full time (sales) and am a certified personal trainer although I just do that for fun and the satisfaction of watching someone surprise themselves at what they can achieve.

2012: Lose the last 5 and:

Complete my 2nd Half Ironman

Run two full marathons again this year

Run 5 half marathons

GET OVER MY SWIMMING ANXIETY! UGH!!

Don't fall over on my bike this year. :-)

My Program:
Following my training schedule better than last year. Goal of 90%.

Getting myself into the pool more often than my training schedule. (Can I find a warmer pool to swim in?)

Thank you for the overly kind words!!!! haha it is a journey that's for sure! weight loss is the hardest part I think, not so much the risk taking and the adventures - that's the fun part! hehe

that is SO cool you got to see the penguin talk! I would love to hear what he has to say!
