The scale can be your enemy. You get up in the morning and step onto the scale. (You always weigh yourself in the morning because that way you haven't had a chance to eat in seven or eight hours.) One of three things has happened: you've gained weight, you've lost weight, or you've stayed the same. If you've lost weight, you're ahead of the game and can afford to cheat a little. BUT CAN YOU REALLY... IS THIS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT? If you've gained weight, you may feel angry or depressed, especially if you were "good" yesterday. SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TODAY TO CHANGE YOUR NUMBERS TOMORROW? And if you stayed the same, it looks as if you have been given free reign to do nothing. ARE YOU GOING TO SIT THERE AND DO NOTHING?
What are you willing to do TODAY to make the scale move in the direction you want it to move consistently for the next week?
How was vacation? where did you go again? I am doing much better... I was sick for a couple weeks. I took an antibiotic for a sinus infection and then had an allergic reaction to that and broke out in hives everywhere, then I had to get on two different medications and it was crazy. But I am feeling much better now. It feels good to be back in the gym and I have my appetite back. How have you been? Way to go on not gaining weight over vacation! Talk to you soon! 2946 days ago
