Back in the saddle again

Update : 9/11/2014
I went to the doctors yesterday and the blinders came off. I could no long excuse my behavior or ignore what was happening. I had gained 40 lbs in 6 months. I was in shock. I knew I had gained some weight but honestly I thought maybe 10 pounds at the most 15 but when I was faced with the truth of what had happened I was shocked. So I decided I needed to change. I needed to recommit to tracking everything. So for the next 2 weeks I am tracking every bite everything and anything I eat. As I consistently do that I will start adding other things like a walking program but for right now, slow and steady is going to win my race.

Update : 1/3/2014
Just joined BTS and now getting ready for BLC 24. Hopefully I will find the motivation that I seem to be lacking

My name is Lyndsay and I am a first time mom to Sarai and step mom to Heather. I am married to a wonderful man, Dan and we have 2 fur babies, Sherbert and Butterscotch (Scottie). I am on disability for bipolar 1 disorder as well as many other conditions. I am currently 330 pounds and am looking for motivation to keep moving that number down. My husband and I both have dreams of a larger family but until our health conditions are under control we are not focusing on them.

I am a strong believer with a strong faith. I know that without God's guidance I will not be successful on this journey. I also know that I have struggled for so long that my journey will not be easy and it will be filled with tears, sweat, pain, and anger. However I remain steadfast that God will provide for me everything that I require to make that journey and the reward will be a fulfilling life on the other side.

Update 11/16/2013 I am back and fully committed to giving my all to this site and myself. My husband and I are wanting to get our bodies in shape so that if and when we are blessed with a second child we will physically be ready and won't have to worry about some of the complications we had with our Monkey.

emoticon for adding me as one of your emoticon s. I look forward to getting to know you and to the day you reach your weight loss goal and yell, "I DID IT!" Won't that be a day to remember? Take things one healthy meal, one exercise, one positive day at a time and always believe in yourself that you can do this, one pound at a time. emoticon emoticon -- Lou
